I just adore this chair!

Indigi Designs - fabulous locally made items that are just begging for you to take them home.
Funky, functional and a definite feeling of "I want that!" when I saw this exhibit.

Fabric frenzy

There's nothing quite like beautiful fabrics. I love it. Sometimes I buy fabrics just because I find them beautiful, not knowing quite yet what I'll make with it. Have a look at these from noeks. They are an online shop selling beautiful prints on fabric and paper. Also plenty other stuff like iron on foil sheets, haberdashery and much, much more. Check it out!

My personal favourite is the turquoise and red print which is very retro and very Scandinavian (I love it!!). Those green or blue elephants are quite funky too, no?

Alewives fabrics

I saw an advertisement for this site that sell the most beautiful fabrics on Soule Mama, one of my favourite of favourite blogs. Just looking at all the beautiful fabrics makes me itch to get my workroom in order, get a huge big batch of everything and start sewing again....

Alexander Henry fabrics:

lovely Liberty prints:

Carolyn Gavin fabrics

Also fabrics from Amy Butler, Anna Griffin, Aneela Hoey and others. There's something for everyone, young and old. The prices are very reasonable too and I'm sure you'll have as much fun as I did when choosing your favourites...

happy hunting!!

Et Voila!

Here's another bag finished!

This fabric is so lovely and colorful, the bag doesn't need too much decoration. I tried a new pattern too, which is a lot easier than the one I've been using until now. Phew!

I wrote about two lovely pieces of fabric I found here and went on to make one bag so far. This is what it looks like....

The little rose with lace trimming is detachable, and can be used for a brooch or put anywhere on the bag, as you like. This will be for sale at the Treasury Market too.

Fabric finds

I was very pleased when I found these two pieces of fabric the other day....

These are just perfect for two lovely bags; totes or shoulder bags, I haven't decided yet.... Keep a look-out to see what I've done with them!

Fabrics

So, I am searching on the internet for interesting fabrics, and knowing that the Sew Mama Sew site often offer some lovely fabrics on sale, I spend some time searching over all their fabrics and found this.

These are just too cute to resist, and I can think of a few things to make with these fabrics; what do you think? They are designed by Suzy Ultman for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

All of these are so adorable, I wouldn't know which to choose....
