Up-cycling

I've had this little white tray for AGES - I think it was a vessel for a Christmas gift from years ago. Like usual, I didn't want to throw the tray away "just in case" I have a use for it "one day".... Hahahaha! Well, I finally did something with it....

The Background Fairy

The new background on my blog is thanks to The Background Fairy. I saw this background and just couldn't resist.....

Here's a few more examples of lovely backgrounds on her site. You can also find links to many other images, digital scraps and much, much more.

Hope you're having a good weekend! I'm just pottering in the garden and on-line; the captain is away for a couple of days and my son is studying for tests - so I have too much time on my hands.... haha!

Babushka garland

When I saw this paper at the Scrapbook Warehouse, I couldn't resist it. There was only one sheet left, but I will definitely see if I can find more elsewhere. It didn't take me long to make this garland, and I think it is really pretty for a girls' bedroom, or anywhere in your home. I just put it up against the wall of kitchen to show off the bright colors....

It really is very sweet; even my 11yr old son likes it; but NOT for his bedroom... Hahaha
